The Counseling Psychology program is designed to help the students better know and love God, and to better know and love people. You might find some counseling courses at other 圣经 Colleges, and you might find some 圣经 courses at other Christian colleges; but at Emmaus, you get a full study of both Biblical studies and Counseling Psychology. Our integration model serves to help students to not just treat problems, but to understand the root of issues, and how to treat the entire individual.

The Emmaus Counseling department seeks to equip students with the ability to integrate, under a biblical authority, 理论, 实践, and methodologies of counseling psychology for effective counseling ministry to those in need.
One of the ways that Emmaus positively impacted me was through the many leadership opportunities I was given. I was encouraged to step outside of my comfort zone in order to grow and to learn to lead like Christ in humility.

I started off my college career at a huge university on the east coast. Transferring to a small 圣经 college was a huge change but I woke up grateful everyday that I was getting my education at Emmaus. The professors know you more than just by your name and studying under their knowledge and wisdom, kindness and compassion, and love for the Lord is such an honor and blessing. The Counseling and Psychology department allowed me to grow not just in my knowledge but in my heart for the Lord to discover my passion: working with others for the glory of God.
